2020 Honorary Family Nominations Now Open

Does your family bleed crimson and gold? If so, nominate them for the 2020 Honorary Family Award! Sponsored by PSU Foundation and Advancement Ambassadors, this annual award will be presented later this fall. The recipients are selected by a committee based on a student-submitted nomination about the student’s family involvement, school spirit, and Gorilla legacy.

Move-In Day: Different, but the Same

Move-In Day looked different this year. Much different. Different location. Strict safety protocols. Usually held on a Saturday — a day that’s a flurry of activity marked by students, staff, and families hauling laundry baskets and suitcases up and down the staircases of residents halls — this year it was spread among three days in order to reduce capacity.
MIAA takes Emergency Actions in Regard to 2020-21 Athletic Seasons
All MIAA fall sport competitions are suspended until January 1, 2021. The MIAA continues to explore the possibility of a limited number of competitions in football, volleyball, men's soccer, and women's soccer in the spring, as permitted by the NCAA.

PSU Announces Title for Campus-Wide, Diversity-Based Reading Program

As campuses across the nation grapple with how best to address issues like racism, diversity, and multiculturalismthe Tilford Group at PSU has announced a timely title for its campus-wide reading program The Best We Could Do: An Illustrated Memoir by Thi Bui.

Traveling Women's Suffrage Exhibit to be Displayed at PSU

A traveling exhibit that brings to life the history of the women’s suffrage movement in Kansas will come to PSU just a few days after the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote.
