Janet Houser started her education at Pittsburg State in what at the time was an untested, unaccredited nursing program — the first students graduated in 1973, and Houser earned her degree just three years later. The nursing program went on to achieve acclaim, and Houser did, too.

PSU has worked with Google for over a decade to provide free GUSMail accounts to alumni, students, faculty, and staff. Google recently changed its policy. After December 15th, Google will no longer provide these accounts at zero charge. Therefore PSU is taking action now to ensure alumni have time to move any data.
