PSU chooses U.S. Awards for annual partnership award
Started in Pittsburg by Charles Dellasega and his brothers Pete and Bernard in 1953, U.S. Awards has grown from a small shop that produced the best hand-sewn chenille patches, to one of the few (and the largest) chenille emblem producers in the nation.

George Sweatt and Kermit King: Two graduates who were important to Black history, and to the history of athletics at Pittsburg State were both inducted into statewide halls of fame, PSU Athletics Hall of Fame and this past month, they were both part of an exhibit at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts.

Monday, March 7, PSU will hold its longest running tradition, Apple Day!
Held each year since 1907, Apple Day celebrates important events in the early days of the university that paved the way to its existence. Several events will occur throughout the day including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Apple Dessert Contest, Distinguished Service Award Reception and the Apple Day Ceremony.
